Kuala Lumpur : The 6th Asia Water Management Excellence Awards will be held on 6th April 2010, in conjunction with the ASIAWATER 2010 Expo & Conference. Calls for nominations are now officially open! Held every two years, the awards look to honour and recognise the contributions made by top companies and individuals for their contributions to the development and improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of water and wastewater related service and/or optimization of public, private, commercial or industrial water use and/or to the saving and conservation of water resources in the region.
Organised by ASIA WATER Magazine and the Asiawater 2010 Committee, the Asia Water Management Excellence Awards has been recognized as a significant milestone for winners in their commitment and contribution to the industry. The four distinct categories for the awards are:

Past winners of the Asia Water Management Excellence Awards include Tan Sri Hamdan Mohamad, Jamshedpur Utilities & Services Company Limited, Masyarakat Peduli Air, Wanchai Ghooprasert, Penang Water Supply Department, Public Utilities Board, Environmental Protection Administration (EPA) Taiwan, Tan Sri Rozali Ismail, Unilever Philippines, Wetlands International, Mr. Ir. H. Kumala Siregar, Mr. Vu Kim Quyen and Manila Water Company.
